You can learn to love yourself. You have heard this many times before, but it is still the single most important thing you can do to be of help and service. When you surround yourself with love you become that love. In the same way, when you surround yourself with beauty that beauty fills you and you become that beauty. Again, if you surround yourself with anger or ugliness you become that anger, speaking out in hostility and hatred. When you are surrounded by ugliness that ugliness begins to seep through into your core, your soul, and you begin to emulate that energy. It takes many lifetimes of practice to be surrounded by the opposite of love and still be that love. This is what you are all practicing toward. It is what we call practicing compassion.

There are many of your prophets who have addressed this issue: "You are what you eat," "Water seeks its own level," "You will reap what you may sow." All these voices have been telling you of the energies that surround you and how they affect you.

Your ability to love yourself is reflected out into your world at all times. Your energy is so important for comfort and in showing others how to be in balance while the energies are moving in chaos. Most people see only what is in front of them, so if they are being shown fear, lack, hatred, violence, they internalize those energies and in-turn become them. The same then is true if someone sees joy, love, peacefulness and calm, they will begin emulating those energies. Of course there are some who have so deeply enmeshed themselves into the illusion of destructive energies that they may not choose to change their energy field. This is not a fault of yours nor something that you can change at will, this is something entirely owned by those individuals and thus can only be changed by them.

Always, your responsibility lies with your choices, your attitude and your energy field. How you choose to display or share yourself is, as always, entirely up to your soul's choices and patterns or agreement. At anytime in your life, or in your day, you can make changes in the attitude you surround yourself with at any time. This is so important because it means that you may change your vision of your reality at will and act accordingly.

Share yourself in anger or confusion and those things will reflect back toward you. Share yourself in love and peace and those things will reflect back toward you also. As always, the choices of how you choose to see your world is dependent solely upon your vision and how you share it.

We know that each of you is working toward your own perfection and that each choice you make is perfect for where you are in the development for your soul. You need only remember this also and you will more easily choose those decisions that allow you to move with more ease toward your own destiny and that of humankind's.
